Throughout his career, Rodney was coached by some of the game’s most respected minds, including Patrick Vieira, and shared the field with and against global icons such as David Villa, Andrea Pirlo, Kaká, and David Beckham. These experiences exposed him to world-class talent, high-performance environments, and coaching philosophies that shape how he develops young players today.

Beyond the pitch, Rodney continues to experience the game at its highest level through his work as a broadcast analyst, host, and soccer personality for CBS Sports, FOX, FOX Deportes, ESPN, MLS, and Concacaf. His work surrounding the FIFA World Cup has included match analysis, hosting, and interviewing professional athletes, celebrities, and influential figures across the global soccer community.

Rodney understands that true player development cannot be measured solely by wins, rankings, or trophies. It comes from building confidence, encouraging creativity, developing strong habits, and protecting each player’s passion for the game. His philosophy is grounded in lived experience, helping young athletes develop the technical ability, mindset, discipline, and love for soccer required to pursue their full potential.

With Rodney, players aren’t simply learning how to play soccer. They are learning the game from someone who has competed in a FIFA World Cup, won an MLS championship, and continues to work at the forefront of the global game.
